music, dancing & more

All-day entertainment starts at 11am in Ashokan's beautiful wooden performance hall with music and dancing for kids & families, and goes all day long with a rousing revue of independent folk and roots music for all ages, culminating in a rowdy midnight square dance.

Enjoy local food from Ashokan & Veggie Oasis, local beer & wine, goodies from Immune-Schein, Woodstock Cupcakes, Platte Clove Naturals and more. Plus the ever-popular blacksmithing, sledding, all-ages crafts in the FiberFlame room (leave your child for an additional childcare fee), an array of upstairs parent-child activities, an instrument petting zoo by Hungry For Music (please bring an instrument to donate to kids in need) and intimate mini-concerts in the Pewter Shop filmed and recorded by Beehive Productions.

See schedule of set times below.  Saturday's performance hall lineup features: beautiful songstress Natalie Merchant, beloved songwriter Dan Bern, award-winning blues duo Annie Raines & Paul Rishell, Hudson Valley fiddle and folk duo Jay Ungar & Molly Mason, heartfelt rural-rockers The Mike + Ruthy Band, all-ages folk experimentalists Elizabeth Mitchell & You Are My Flower, sweet Catskills storyteller Story Laurie, and Ithaca string-band Home Remedy.
