Booking Policy

We curate two Hoots a year and do our best to create a mix of local, regional and national performers who are professional, kind, and will either draw or captivate a crowd (hopefully both!)  With a few exceptions, we prefer not to book anyone for more than 2 years in a row, for variety.  Our budget is small and we're grateful to all of our performers for partly donating their music toward the cause; The Hoots support The Ashokan Center, a beautiful music and nature preserve. Touring roots music bands who will draw a fun crowd and add spirit to the Hoot are encouraged to email Mike. Please include a local show where we can see you perform, one great live video link, and a very short note. Thanks!
